Windsor Mill Tavern is about growing friendships and creating memories. The Tavern respects the historic elements of the Windsor Mill while introducing modern updates to the 1900 era garden-level basement; complete with century-old stone walls and massive timber posts that survived the 2017 fire. Our incredible, friendly staff will make you feel at ease as you sip on a carefully crafted cocktail, a well-chosen glass of wine, or a refreshing, cold beer. Sometimes you just want to walk into a dark bar where the staff knows you and warmly greets you, and the cocktails are perfection. The Windsor Mill Tavern is that place. This is old school service hospitality perfected.
We don't go out often, but this is our go-to spot in town. It's a place that makes every date night better. We always sit at the bar, where we get to chat with some of the best bartenders you can find anywhere. For two people who have traveled the world and sometimes struggle to exist in a little town like Windsor, we are grateful that this place exists. It's got a cool-but-casual rustic speakeasy vibe, great food, and do yourself a favor: ORDER THE COLORADO WILDFIRE!

We asked our server, Ali, for her red wine recommendation - the Hess Maverick Cabernet Sauvignon Paso Robles CA was delicious. For an appetizer we had the scrumptious Tavern Board and followed up with a Bison Burger and a Summer Salad with Shrimp. The food, service, and atmosphere is family-friendly, professional, knowledgeable, and impeccable. We couldn’t ask for better and will return! Drop everything and go to Windsor Mill Tavern for a delightful experience!
